Dr. Machi graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1977 and later received his initial implant education at Harvard and at New York University.
Dr. Machi has been involved in the research and design of dental implants and bone augmentation materials for over 25 years and has lectured nationally and internationally on various subjects including implants, radiology, orthodontics, and various laboratory topics.
Dr. Machi has won a Best Case Competition Award from Harvard University Seminars at their Implant Dentistry Alumni Day event.
Dr. Machi has served on the board of America's oldest implant organization, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and was the chairman of its research foundation.
Imaging Sciences International selected Dr. Machi's office as a beta test site for its original computer-aided surgical planning software. In addition, Dr. Machi has been a clinical investigator for New York University Dental School's implant department.
